How do filters work? What does include/exclude mean?
Each filter type has two sub-types: “include” and “exclude.”
An “include” filter will include ONLY emails that match its condition. For example, if you create a filter to “include” only emails from @emailanalytics.com, then when you activate the filter, ONLY stats for emails from @emailanalytics.com will be displayed on your dashboard reports.
An “exclude” filter will exclude all emails from your reports that match its condition. For example, if you create a filter to “exclude” emails from @emailanalytics.com, then when you activate the filter, all your stats will be displayed as normal, except that all emails from or to @emailanalytics.com will be omitted from your dashboard reports.
